Our Studio
Lexi Zavad Interiors is a San Francisco–based design studio specializing in high-end residential projects across the country. We approach every project by first understanding its context: the architecture, the landscape, and the way our clients actually live day to day. From there, we shape interiors that feel curated and function as well as they look.
Our practice spans interior design, interior architecture, and custom furniture under one integrated process, from early concept through final installation. Whether we're renovating an existing home or building alongside new construction, our team stays involved at every stage, so nothing is lost in translation between the original vision and the finished space.
We bring the rigor of large-scale project management to a studio that stays small, hands-on, and highly collaborative, working directly with clients, architects, and builders throughout. It's an approach that pairs technical precision with a personal touch on every project.
Our portfolio spans from California to New York, with a particularly active presence in Aspen, where we continue to design mountain homes that balance architectural character with everyday livability.
HOW WE WORK
The discipline of large-scale projects meets an intimate and highly-collaborative practice.

Lexi Zavad
Founder & Principal
Lexi Zavad is an interior designer known for spaces that balance quiet sophistication with everyday ease. She founded her namesake studio in 2020 after a decade in high-end residential design, developing a distinctive approach defined by an eye for craftsmanship, a nuanced material palette, and an intuitive understanding of how people live. She is driven by a passion for collaborating with artisans and vendors who are masters of their craft, creating heirloom pieces built to last a lifetime.
Based in San Francisco and leading projects nationwide, Zavad approaches each project with a sensitivity to context and a focus on creating spaces that feel cohesive and enduring. Before launching her firm, she spent over four years at NICOLEHOLLIS, contributing to custom residences alongside world-renowned architects. Her projects have appeared in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, and other leading publications.
Away from the studio, Lexi enjoys time with her husband, son and their English Springer Spaniel, Albert. A lifelong equestrian, she finds balance and perspective in horseback riding, a source of continual inspiration in her work.
